History: 60 year old male with hip pain.

The differential diagnosis for this appearance on a Tc-99m MDP bone scan includes fibrous dysplasia, Paget’s disease, bone metastases, and primary bone tumor. This is a case of Paget’s disease.
Paget’s disease is a disorder of abnormal and excessive bone remodeling, which results in deformed and weakened bones. It is usually asymptomatic, however, it can produce pain. It can lead to secondary osteoarthritis, as seen in the image below.

Thank you to Quinn Meisinger, M.D. for this great example of Paget’s Disease.
Hello there! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform
are you using for this site? I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
